American Depository Receipts
In the United States, E.ON shares trade through American Depositary Receipts (ADR) in the over-the-counter (OTC) market. The E.ON ADRs are quoted on OTC Pink under ticker EONGY.
E.ON’s ADR program gives U.S. investors the opportunity to buy E.ON shares and hold them through a receipt which trades and settles like any U.S. share. ADRs are quoted in U.S. dollars and dividends are also paid in U.S. dollars, a significant advantage for U.S. investors. ADR holders can vote at shareholder meetings, participate in profit sharing and receive the relevant company information.
One (1) E.ON ADR is equivalent to one (1) E.ON ordinary share.
Citibank acts as depositary bank for E.ON’s ADR program. Detailed information on E.ON’s ADR program is available from Citibank and via Citibank’s ADR Investor Contact: Telephone: +1 877 248 4237*, e-mail: email@example.com.
