Lars A. Rosumek will be the new head of E.ON’s “Communications & Political Affairs” division. He will join the company in the first quarter of 2020.
“I’m very pleased that E.ON will be bringing on board an outstanding communications executive like Lars A. Rosumek. He has gained a wealth of experience at a broadly diversified international company and played a key in shaping the communications on its digital transformation. I’m certain this background will enable him to bring new perspectives to our communications and political affairs activities and enrich E.ON as we continue our journey into the new energy world. I look forward to working with him and wish him all the best in his new role,“ E.ON CEO Johannes Teyssen said.
Rosumek is currently Senior Vice President Global Corporate and Marketing Communications at Voith, a global technology group with roughly 19,000 employees that is active in the energy, oil and gas, paper, raw materials, and transport and automotive sectors. He studied history, journalism, and communications at Leipzig University and completed the General Management Program at Harvard Business School. Prior to taking on his current role in 2011, he was, among other things, a corporate and communications consultant for international companies.
While at Voith, Rosumek was instrumental in reshaping the messages and setup of its corporate communications. He and has team supported Voith’s multi-year fundamental transformation into a technology group with a strong focus on digital industrial applications and products.
Until Lars A. Rosumek’s arrival, the Communications & Political Affairs division will be led on an interim basis by Carsten Thomsen-Bendixen, Vice President for Stakeholder Communications.
