E.ON appoints Michael Lewis as new CEO of E.ON UK, Marc Hoffman will become new CEO Customer Solutions and Country Chairman for Sweden, Anja Dotzenrath to become new CEO of E.ON Climate & Renewables
Michael Lewis will be the new CEO of E.ON UK effective April 10. He will succeed Tony Cocker, who has decided to retire from E.ON to pursue a portfolio career at end of July 2017. Lewis has been CEO of E.ON Climate & Renewables since 2015. He joined E.ON in the United Kingdom in 1993 and has played an instrumental role in expanding E.ON’s renewables business. Tony Cocker has worked for E.ON for over 20 years and has been the company’s UK CEO since September 2011.
E.ON CEO Johannes Teyssen said: “I’d like to thank Tony Cocker for his outstanding contribution, not only to our UK business but also to our company as a whole. During his time in UK, Tony helped make customer focus part of our DNA. His wealth of experience will help continue to accelerate our company’s transformation there.”
Marc Hoffmann, currently Senior Vice President for Group Accounting and Controlling at E.ON headquarters in Essen, will become CEO Customer Solutions and Country Chairman of E.ON in Sweden on April 1. Prior to his current role, Hoffmann was the company’s CFO in Sweden for four years. “I’m extremely pleased that Marc Hoffmann will be at the helm of our business in Sweden,” Wildberger said. “His time in Sweden and his extensive international experience give him just the right skill set to accelerate the transformation of our sales and customers-solutions businesses in Sweden.”
Anja Dotzenrath, currently COO at E.ON Climate & Renewables, will become its CEO on April 10. Dotzenrath joined E.ON in 2011 as Managing Director of E.ON In-house Consulting after a wide-ranging career in in the energy and chemical industry and top management consulting.
