Mr. Andreas Scheidt, born on 1 August 1964 in Wuppertal, Germany, is an electronics specialist for energy systems and an electric systems fitter.
Mr. Scheidt first worked for Quante GmbH as an electronics technician from 1986 to 1989, when he joined WSW Wuppertaler Stadtwerke GmbH (formerly: Wuppertaler Stadtwerke AG). His initial role there was that of a control room operator, and from 1998 to 2012, he was a member of the works council (released from normal work duties as a full-time member as of 2001). From 2012 to 2014, he was a consultant for codetermination matters at WSW Wuppertaler Stadtwerke GmbH. Since 2014, he has been a member of the National Executive of the ver.di union and the head of the Energy Supply and Waste Management Desk.
Member of the Supervisory Board of E.ON SE since 2015; term will end at the close of the Annual General Meeting in 2023.
