E.ON as we know it today was formed in 2000 when two conglomerates, VEBA and VIAG merged, but the company’s roots go back much further. Some of our subsidiaries were founded as long ago as the 1920’s. Our history is characterised by innovative and pioneering initiatives, projects and milestones.
