Riding Waves

Ocean waves harbor vast, inexhaustible energy potential. Anyone who has ever dipped into the North Sea or Atlantic surf knows just how much force they are dealing with. All the world’s energy demands could be met by wave energy alone. In order to further promote marketable technologies we have launched the “West Wave” project, a wave power plant off the coast of Great Britain. This is just one more step in our climate protection strategy which we expect will contribute a significant amount of electricity to the European network starting 2009.
