Reporting

The aim of our annual reporting is to achieve open, credible and self-critical communication, and we intend to take a leading role in the energy sector in doing this. The most important target groups for reporting are our employees, investors, rating and ranking agencies and opinion leaders in the area of CR, like figures from politics and research.

Key Figures
Since 2006, an Internet-based system collects groupwide CR-relevant data at E.ON. In 2007, we improved the system by means of a series of implementation workshops and adjusted the key figure set. The collation system, the presentation of selected key performance figures and the content of the chapters "E.ON Corporate Profile", "A Responsible Business" and "CR Work Program and Outlook 2008" in our 2007 CR report have been verified by independent auditors. We see this as confirmation of the quality of this data collation and reporting system.
Global Reporting Initiative
In producing our 2007 CR report, we adhered to the guidelines of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) including the Electric Utility Sector Supplement issued in September 2007. Our report once again received an application level A+, the highest grade awarded by the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI).
