That means E.ON, as a company in the energy industry, has a special responsibility.

 

It is our corporate vision to become the leading power and gas company worldwide. This target is only attainable through responsible corporate governance. E.ON has long recognized corporate responsibility (CR) as a significantly influential factor in gaining long-term corporate success and it has therefore been tightly integrated into our corporate culture and embedded in management structures.

 

We are well aware that public trust in the energy industry is currently low. At the same time, we view this trust as an essential prerequisite for the success of our company. Therefore we consider dialog with stakeholders an important way of retaining and cementing trust in the long-term.
