HR work at E.ON is based on the groupwide People strategy "OneHR". It was derived from E.ON’s corporate strategy, E.ON values and behaviors and the changing environment in which our company operates. Effective Measures
In the ranking of the "Top Employers in Germany 2007" – a study conducted by "junge karriere" magazine and the geva institute – E.ON placed near the top in 2007 as one of the 20 best employers in Germany. E.ON Ruhrgas once again performed extremely well in external rankings and was chosen as one of Germany’s Best Employers 2007 and one of the Best Workplaces in Europe 2007, a ranking of the top 100 employers in Europe. In 2008, the holding companies E.ON AG, E.ON Energie and E.ON Ruhrgas participated for the first time together in the contest "Germany’s Best Employers 2008" ("Deutschlands Beste Arbeitgeber 2008") conducted by the German Great Place to Work® Institute and the "Capital" business publication, achieving a place among the top 20 employers. On top of that, E.ON received a special award in the health promotion category of this competition.
