In spite of an overall lack of job training availability in the country, E.ON will create 515 new trainee positions and preparatory internships this year, approximately seventy percent more than in previous years.

The one-name branding strategy makes further progress when regional supplier Avacon (Helmstedt, Germany) becomes E.ON Avacon in early July. EAM Energie (Kassel, Germany) becomes E.ON Mitte in mid-July, and distributor Thüga Italia, headquartered in Verona, becomes E.ON Vendita as of July 1.
