The energy world is facing enormous challenges: the world's increasing energy appetite, global climate protection, and the depletion of finite fossil resources. In view of these challenges, we need to fundamentally change our energy supply system.

But how can we make the necessary changes while at the same time ensuring that the energy supply remains climate friendly, secure, and affordable? What's really feasible, both technologically and economically? How much time do we still have?

As a strong and successful international energy company, E.ON is committed to providing possible answers to these key questions and to playing an active role in finding solutions. Our position paper, "Energy 2030", describes what we think tomorrow's energy supply system will look like, what we stand for, what we're doing now, and what we're committed to doing in the future.

But the purpose of "Energy 2030" isn't to provide all the answers, but rather to be part of a constructive dialog. We invite you to join it.
