Reason enough to take a look at this issue from different angles. And of course we are looking forward to the energy of players and fans. As part of their partnership, E.ON and FC Bayern München have also launched a joint initiative dedicated to saving energy. The Energy Saving Competition.
The bet is as follows: If E.ON manages to find ways of cutting power consumption in the Allianz Arena by 1 million kWh by the end of 2009, Uli Hoeneß will barbecue sausages for fans.
And with a bit of luck anybody taking part in our Energy Saving Quiz on the campaign website can win the Energy Saving Competition. The site also offers a host of valuable energy saving tips.

The partnership with FC Bayern München provides E.ON with a range of opportunities for campaign specials. Outside the stadium at every home game spectators can measure the speed of their shot with the shot energy tool. The top strikes are compared with the best shots of FC Bayern players and are shown on the video screen. At the beginning of the season a youth team which demonstrated its "Energy for FC Bayern" even had the chance to run down the tunnel onto the pitch with the stars.
