E.ON History 2008
February
E.ON and Gazprom sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to work as partners to build and operate a 1.2 GW combinedcycle gas turbine (CCGT) near Lubmin in northeast Germany. The location is near where Nord Stream, a submarine natural gas pipeline across the Baltic Sea linking Russia and Germany, will make its landfall. Plans call for the CCGT to enter service in 2011. The two companies will make the final investment decision on the project in 2009.
