Since August 2005 E.ON has been supporting the German Olympic Sports Association (DOSB) as an Olympic Partner. By committing itself as German Olympic Partner, E.ON is complementing its previous sponsoring concept of supporting young talents as well as amateur and professional sports. Our commitment provides young athletes with the ability to train for national and international competitions under the best possible conditions.

 

The German Olympic Team embodies qualities such as fairness, peak performance and dedication. At this year’s Games, the German Olympic athletes distinguished themselves with their outstanding achievements, not to mention their unparalleled team spirit and fair competition.

 

In the medal table, the German Olympic Team was able to fight their way up to fifth place. With 16 gold, 10 silver and 15 bronze medals, the German Olympic Sports Association made its participation in the Olympic Games in Beijing a huge success.

 

We are now looking forward to another exciting Olympic Games in 2012 when the Olympic Flame will be burning in London.
