Transparent communication and clear presentation of our performance is one of the most important maxims at E.ON. For this reason, aside from the key figures for individual content areas like environment and workplace, we have put together a list of CR key figures sorted by topic.
Improved Method of Gathering CR Relevant Data Groupwide
After the launch of an IT-based system for gathering CR relevant data in 2006, we optimized the system in 2007 through a series of implementation workshops and a realignment of the key figure system.
The figures included in our CR Report 2007 and communicated on our CR website apply to all subsidiaries and power plants in which E.ON owns a majority stake and which are fully consolidated into E.ON’s Consolidated Financial Statements. They have been adjusted for discontinued operations in 2005 and 2006. Investments in new markets made in 2007, including activities in Russia and in the area of renewable energy, are yet to be integrated into the group’s CR reporting system, with the exception of the personnel-related figures.
Our external auditor verified the collation system, the presentation of selected key performance figures as well as the content of the chapters “E.ON Corporate Profile”, "A Responsible Business" and “CR Work Program and Outlook 2008” of the CR Report 2007. We see this as confirmation of the quality of this data collation and reporting system.
