Facts and Figures about E.ON
In 2007, E.ON AG published its fourth Corporate Responsibility (CR) Report. The CR internet portal is an integral part of our CR reporting and enables us to cover items from the print report in greater detail and to make additions.
This approach enables us to offer the wide range of information our readers are accustomed to, allowing us to adapt to the various requirements of our stakeholders. At the same time, the printed report can go into specific issues in depth. In the 2007 CR Report, we took the opportunity to present a detailed explanation of the challenges facing the energy industry.
Transparent, Easily Comparable Communication
We base our reporting on the guidelines laid down by the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), including the Electric Utility Sector Supplement issued in September 2007. At the same time, our reporting also serves as our Communication on Progress as part of the United Nations’ Global Compact. In addition, our CR Report also takes into consideration the information requirements laid down by the Institutional Investors Group on Climate Change (IIGCC).
In 2007, we encouraged and improved the collection of groupwide key figures through a series of implementation workshops.
