Require a Clear Strategy
In our view, corporate responsibility is multidimensional: it requires equal measures of social engagement, environmental and climate protection. For our employees it means providing safe and attractive workplaces, while for our customers it means fair prices and security of supply.
We can only address all these challenges with a clear CR strategy. In 2007, we revised our existing CR strategy in order to make sure we proactively contribute to making energy sustainable in the future. On top of that, we expanded our CR organization as we are only able to realize our responsibilities if we have the appropriate capacities to deal with them.
We want our CR activities to be easy to understand and transparent. Our CR program 2007 presents the extent to which we have reached the aims set out in 2006. In our current work program due to run from 2008 to 2010 we outline our future goals.
