Structure

E.ON AG, Düsseldorf, is the E.ON Group's Corporate Center. E.ON operates
along the entire value chain in power and gas. These operations are organized
geographically or functionally in market units (MU) in line with the structure of
our respective target markets. The lead company of each MU is responsible
for integrating and coordinating operations across its target market. Business
units manage day-to-day operations. In addition to our activities in Europe
and Russia, we operate an electric and gas utility business and renewable-
source generating assets in North America. We pursue a value-oriented
management approach aimed at enhancing our competitiveness and delivering
profitable growth.
