E.ON History 2004
September
In late September, E.ON reaches an agreement in principle with Statkraft to sell generating capacity to the Norwegian utility. The agreement calls for E.ON's Sydkraft subsidiary to sell Statkraft certain hydroelectric plants next year. These plants have a combined annual output of approximately 1.6 billion kilowatt-hours. Both companies have also agreed that Sydkraft may do business under the E.ON brand name from the beginning of 2005.
