Central Europe
Central Europe is E.ON’s most important target market for power and gas. Within this market, we are involved in the generation, transportation, distribution and sales of power, gas and heat, as well as in electricity trading. One of our key areas is our domestic German market. But we are also well-established in the Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria and in the countries of central and eastern Europe. Through targeted acquisitions over the past few years, E.ON has succeeded in expanding its market share in this area to thirty percent, and has attained a very attractive market position in this interesting and dynamic region.
