The United Kingdom’s energy market is one of the most liberalized, and the regulated, in all of Europe. E.ON has been active here since 2002, vying for customers in an extremely competitive field. E.ON UK covers the entire value chain in this market, from power generation to transportation and distribution, to final customer sales. It has also been successful as a wholesale supplier and distributor of natural gas. One of our main areas of activity in the United Kingdom is the expansion of renewable energies, especially of wind power on the island’s coastlines. E.ON UK is striving to be the market leader in this field.
