Power and Gas
E.ON is active in the business areas of power and gas, pursuing an integrated business model on two different levels.
Our business is vertically integrated: We are active in the entire value chain of the power and gas business, from power generation and gas production to distribution and customer sales. This provides us with many opportunities to optimize our business while minimizing our risks.
Our business is horizontally integrated: Power and gas are moving ever closer. Gas will continue to expand as a resource for power generation. It is advantageous for E.ON to be active in both the power and gas business, but it is good for our customers, too, who profit from having one supplier for their power and natural gas needs.
