E.ON Spain

E.ON Spain will manage our new activities on the Iberian Peninsula. The new company will be based in Madrid and is expected to begin operations in 2008. Under an agreement concluded in April 2007, we will acquire Viesgo, a Spanish power company with generation and distribution assets, along with additional generating capacity in Spain from Endesa. The transactions would give us about 3,000 megawatts of generating capacity in Spain and an electric distribution business with approximately 580,000 customer connections.
