On 17 May 2010 Johannes Teyssen, CEO of E.ON AG, was appointed Royal Norwegian Honorary Consul-General for the Federal States of North-Rhine Westphalia, Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland. He succeeds Ulrich Hartmann, who had held this honorary diplomatic position from November 1993.
