Living Leadership

Continuously developing management skills

The LivingLeadership@E.ON process aims at an alignment of today’s varying leadership concepts across E.ON’s acquired and designed business portfolio. Interim results of the initiative already underline that leadership across E.ON will be synonymous with “enabling our people and organizations to achieve our goals through integrity, trust, mutual respect, openness, courage, and corporate responsibility”. LivingLeadership@E.ON does not intend to produce paper credos but take bold steps to alter and align leadership behavior at all levels of our worldwide organization.

Into the Summer of 2008, E.ON’s Top Executive Team (TET) and Top Executive Group (TEG) convene in dedicated forums to respond to the energy industry’s competitive dynamics by a sustainable strategic thrust, a supporting corporate organization structure, and an update of E.ON’s successful corporate leadership model.  The 2008 E.ON Campus in May will resume this approach and address LivingLeadership@E.ON and its consequences in leading people. Towards fall, a wide range of integrated dialogue platforms will continue to ensure that E.ON leaders “enable our people and organization” to achieve our goals.

Starting in October, leadership issues will become a regular topic during the Management Review Process across E.ON, and Human Resource Management systems will be selectively aligned to back-up consciously an enabling - and truly lived - leadership.
