The demand for engineering graduates is still high. For this reason, E.ON Ruhrgas and the mechanical engineering department at Ruhr-Universität Bochum agreed a wide-ranging support program for winning over engineering students, on 31 March 2003.
Targeted measures for initiating and financing future growth - that is the goal of the cooperation. E.ON Ruhrgas can build up a relationship with young engineers at an early stage, while the transfer of knowledge between the university and the industry is strengthened, through joint thesis work for example.
