"SACHEN MACHEN" Initiative

It takes people with know-how and enthusiasm for technology to turn innovative ideas into marketable technologies and products. This is also the reason why E.ON is committed to the "SACHEN MACHEN" initiative as a premium partner. The first nationwide initiative for promoting and strengthening Germany as a technology base aims to contribute to making a country rich in ideas to a country rich in innovation. At the same time it is actively involved in shaping the promotion of the next generation of engineers and innovation in general.
The mission of the initiative, which was launched by the German engineer association (Deutscher Ingenieure e.V. -VDI) in 2006, is to make Germany the world’s leading base for technology by 2015. More than 100 partners from the business and academic community are pooling their resources in SACHEN MACHEN in a bid to boost national innovation and support the next generation in technical professions.
