E.ON Group’s cooperation with the Berlin-based career center for women in natural and engineering sciences, Femtec GmbH in short, is another milestone in the Group’s own initiative to support women in technical professions.            

Femtec cooperates with companies from the private sector as well as leading technical universities to tailor innovative programs for school children, students and graduates in a bid to get them interested in technical courses and to help launch them into careers. There are many facets to our innovative scheme – technical workshops for young women and career building programs for female engineering and natural science students. Not to mention training, personal advice, research and regular PR work. Thanks to the cooperation with Femtec, E.ON is able to identify highly-qualified women at an early stage and to offer them support right from the start.
