In addition to our employees, we also want their immediate families to benefit from our services – for example, their children. Making Friends is our international exchange program for the children of our employees. It offers them the opportunity to meet young people in countries where E.ON operates. In mutual exchanges during summer vacations, the children of employees are reliably cared for by responsible E.ON colleagues in the family of their exchange partner. E.ON covers the travel costs* as well as making all the arrangements for tickets, international travel insurance, and accident insurance for employee children during the exchange. All our employees have to cover is an allowance and room and board for the child. The purpose of Making Friends is to promote inter-cultural exchange in our company, which is an important part of our company culture.
