Overview of Capital Stock Development
Capital stock is comprised of the sum of the nominal value of issued ordinary and preference shares. The minimum nominal value of capital stock for a joint-stock company is EUR50,000. Capital stock can be found on the liabilities side of the balance sheet, under equity capital. See below for an illustration of capital stock development since 2000.
