The 2008 Annual Shareholders Meeting, has approved on April 30, 2008 the cash dividend be increased by 22 percent, from EUR3.35 per share for the 2006 financial year to EUR4.10 per share for the 2007 financial year.

 

Since the 2002 financial year, the dividend has thus increased from EUR1.75 to EUR4.10, which represents an average of 18.6 percent per year.

 

Based on E.ON stock´s year end 2007 closing price, the dividend yield is 2.8 percent. The dividend payout ratio is 50.6 percent of adjusted net income (based on shares outstanding as of December 31, 2007; further share repurchases could alter the dividend payout).

 

The dividend is payed on May 2nd, 2008.
