Acronym for Deutscher Aktien-Index (German stock market index). The DAX index comprises 30 of Germany's largest and most financially successful German shares and is therefore the German stock market's leading index.
The monitoring and controlling of an integrated electric or natural gas supply system such that energy is supplied as economically and reliably as possible.
System by which heat (steam or hot water) produced at a central source is distributed through a network of pipes to several buildings and sometimes an entire district of a city.
Profit-related payment to shareholders. The payment of a dividend is decided on annually at a company's shareholders meeting.
