Podcasts - how to be there live

To ensure that you are always thoroughly informed after important events and conferences, E.ON AG places the corresponding audio and video recordings at your disposal as podcasts.

Podcasts at E.ON

We have compiled a full range of important information concerning podcasting for you:

The term podcasting is an amalgamation of "iPod" and "broadcasting" and describes a service, which instead of news in text form, places audio or video files on current events at your disposal. Similar to RSS feeds, podcasts can be downloaded automatically. After the download, these podcasts can be played on a computer or using a mobile audio or video player.
In order to use podcasts, you will need a program allowing you to receive and manage podcasts - known as a podcatcher. This can either be a pure podcast program such as the iPodder or an RSS reader with a podcasting function. For playback, we recommend, for example, the music software Apple iTunes or the Windows Media Player.

You can then select individual reports directly and listen to them. With the podcatcher, you can also subscribe to podcasts. These podcast reports are then downloaded automatically at regular intervals.
A majority of our events and conferences are broadcast live in the Internet. With the E.ON Podcast, we offer you the possibility of obtaining these reports afterwards as audio or video messages.
The E.ON Podcast is the exclusive property of E.ON AG. The company's download offer may only be used for private purposes that do not pursue commercial objectives. Any further duplication, adaptation or publication is prohibited. Contents and information may not be altered. The integration of the E.ON Podcast on the homepages or weblogs of third parties is forbidden.
