E.ON has a long tradition of promoting art and culture. For many years, we have been extensively involved in the advancement of culture in order to enhance the attractiveness of the cities and regions in which we operate - particularly in Germany. We strive to combine our company goals and our commitment to society.

 

Our support for culture focuses on the fine arts. E.ON supports numerous projects, mainly in museums in Germany: the museum kunst palast in Düsseldorf, the Folkwang Museum in Essen, the Lenbachhaus in Munich, and the New National Gallery in Berlin.

 

In addition, we sponsor a host of regional art festivals and events, such as the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival in Germany. E.ON sponsors a number of prizes that recognize artistic, architectural, and scientific achievements, including the Bavarian Culture Prize.
