Employee Survey

How strongly do employees identify with E.ON? How satisfied are they with their working environment? All employees, or a representative portion of the entire E.ON Group, are called upon nearly every year as part of our Employee Survey to assess their job satisfaction, to evaluate change processes and to express their views on important current issues and projects within the Group. The survey is an important tool for the dialog between employees and management, and a key management tool within the Group.

Good marks for the quality of E.ON as an employer

In comparison with other companies, E.ON employees show a high level of commitment. One of the ways in which this can be seen is in the employee participation rate, as it is at a continuously high level. The employee survey in summer 2011 showed the participation rate to be approximately 78 percent. This year, 78 percent of employees also stated that they were proud to work for E.ON; 80 percent said that they would recommend E.ON to others as a good employer.

Important notes on the further need for action

Once again, the survey provided important notes on where further action is needed. Just as before, employees feel that the rules and work procedures need to be simplified. We will deal with the results of the survey in an open and constructive manner. We will make them available to all Group employees and will use them to derive concrete improvements.
