E.ON Climate and Renewables is responsible for our worldwide activities in the area Renewable Energies on an industrial scale. We develop, build and operate onshore and offshore wind parks, photovoltaic grounding systems and solar thermal and biomass power plants. In the past five years, we have invested more than 7 billion Euros into this area and have thereby established a new core business segment within just a few years. Now we are one of the global market leaders in the sector, which we have proven by winning the “Platts Global Energy Award 2011” for the category “Green energy generator of the year” from the consultancy company Platts. We want to continue expanding our market position through equivalent investments in Renewable Energies in the next five years, too, and we will have an equivalent demand for electrical and mechanical engineers with experience in project management.
