E.ON operates gas and steam power plants in ten countries and is responsible for 69 units in 40 plants with a total capacity of around 18 gigawatts (GW). The gas and steam fleet is controlled centrally from Great Britain, supported by country managers from Germany, Sweden, Italy and Spain.

E.ON Hydro Fleet is an experienced operator of hydro power plants in Europe with around 1,200 employees. The fleet is largely controlled from Sweden and, with more than 212 plants in Sweden, Germany, Italy and Spain, has a capacity of around 5°GW. The German Hydro fleet with a net capacity of more than 2°GW is controlled from Landshut. Their power plants are located on the rivers Isar, Amper, Lech, Inn, Danube, Eder and Main.

E.ON, one of the world market leaders in the operation of safe nuclear power plants, is currently operating nine reactor blocks at six locations worldwide and has minority statuses at another twelve blocks in Germany and Sweden. These have a total capacity of 11°GW and an average power production of 80°TWh. The whole fleet with around 3,300 employees is controlled from Hannover. In Germany, E.ON has six reactor blocks in Unterweser, Brokdorf, Grohnde, Grafenrheinfeld and Isar with a capacity of almost 8°GW. The nuclear power plants Würgassen and Stade are in deconstruction.

E.ON is one of the largest operators of steam power plants in Europe. We operate 35 plants with 81 units and a total capacity of around 27°GW in eight countries. In Germany alone, we have a total of 37 power plant blocks at 16 locations with a net capacity of around 13°GW. The whole fleet is controlled from Hannover.
