The Trading Qualification Program at E.ON Energy Trading…
… is the perfect chance to get started in the future market of energy trading. This involves four individual stages - three at E.ON Energy Trading in Düsseldorf and a further one at an E.ON company abroad - as well as numerous programs concerning energy and trading.
The Distribution Graduate Trainee Program…
… covers the planning, construction, maintenance and operation of our energy supply networks. You will get to know at least three of our business areas, collaborate in the daily business and take on independent (project) assignments at an early stage.
In the Generation Graduate Trainee Program…
… you will work your way through various stages, while also getting to know areas related to your specialist field. In coordination with the department, a post abroad can be incorporated in your trainee schedule as well.
In the E&P Starter Program at E.ON Ruhrgas…
… everything centers around the exploration and production of natural gas. You will learn from experienced colleagues at locations at home and abroad, work in international teams and take part in programs by international training firms.
In the Sales and Services Graduate Trainee Program…
… you can choose at least three different positions in the areas of energy procurement (electricity/gas), claims management or field sales. The areas of marketing, customer center management, private and industrial customer management or sales controlling are also optionally available.

… offers trainees a comprehensive insight into the Group. Three stages at home and abroad provide an optimum yet individual platform to prepare you for your future work in an international context.
Direct entry…
… to our Group is also possible immediately after you complete your higher education. As you will immediately assume responsibility, we are looking for specialists who have major specializations in relevant fields of study and who would ideally contribute initial experience.
As a legal trainee…
… you can look forward to interesting insights into the work of an international corporate group. In our legal department you will take on assignments in numerous areas - starting with antitrust law as well as (energy) commercial law, company law and international law through to labor and social law.
In-house consulting…
… is conducted by an internal company that is responsible for numerous consulting activities in the Group. As a Project Consultant, you will join one of our competence teams and take on an advisory role in all project phases right from the start.
